DesiccantIX offers a range of high-quality desiccants designed to absorb moisture and protect goods in various industries, including Health Care, Food, and Industrial applications. Our products include Silica Gel, Food Grade Silica Gel, Indicating Silica Gel, Clay, Calcium Desiccant, Container Desiccant, and Canister variants.

DesiccantIX serves three main industries: Health Care (for protecting medicines and medical devices), Food (for preserving food freshness), and Industrial (for safeguarding machinery and equipment from moisture damage).

At 25°C, DesiccantIX Silica Gel absorbs ≥9% at 20% RH, ≥22% at 50% RH, and ≥34% at 90% RH. For specific variants like the Canister, it can absorb 300-400 g/g or 300-400% depending on the type.

DesiccantIX Silica Gel uses Tyvek, Non-Woven, FDA-certified packaging materials, or breathable packaging for Canister variants. Food Grade Silica Gel uses FDA-certified food-grade composite fabric.

Silica Gel desiccants are available in sizes ranging from 0.25gm to 10gm. Canister variants are available in 1gm, 2gm, 3gm, and 5gm.

DesiccantIX Indicating Silica Gel changes color from orange to green as it absorbs moisture, providing a visual indication of when it needs replacement. It absorbs ≥9% at 20% RH, ≥22% at 50% RH, and ≥34% at 90% RH at 25°C.

Indicating Silica Gel is available in sizes from 2gm to 10gm.

DesiccantIX Clay absorbs ≥8% at 20% RH and ≥18% at 40% RH at 25°C. It is non-corrosive at 25°C and 60% RH.

DesiccantIX Calcium Desiccant absorbs ≥40% at 20% RH, ≥70% at 50% RH, and ≥200% at 90% RH at 25°C. It passes the infiltration test with no liquid leakage after 24 hours at 25°C and 90% RH.

Clay Desiccants are available from 2gm to 100gm, while Calcium Desiccants come in 2gm, 3gm, 5gm, and 10gm sizes.

DesiccantIX Container Desiccant is designed for large-scale industrial applications, such as shipping containers, to protect goods from moisture damage. It absorbs ≥300% at 38°C and 90% RH.

Container Desiccant is available in 500gm and 1000gm sizes.

Yes, DesiccantIX Food Grade Silica Gel uses FDA-certified food-grade composite fabric and Tyvek, making it safe for food applications to keep products fresh longer.

No, desiccants are not meant for consumption. As indicated on our packaging, "Do Not Eat." They are designed to absorb moisture and should be thrown away after use.
